Six Zug players played for Switzerland U18s recently against Poland, winning 27 points to 15 . They were James Beresford, who captained the Swiss team, Cian Dennehy, Leo Duport, Paul Halter, Finlay Hughes and Oliver Newman, Streamed live from the Krakow Rugby Stadium in Poland, the national anthems preceded a closely contested game, the winner of which would qualify for the European championship later this year. Our players played a massive part with some great passing and kicking by James, strong tackling by Oliver, impressive handling by Paul and Leo, agile footwork from Finlay and two well worked team tries finished off by Cian.
