A huge thank you to the organizers for putting together a great tournament, to the referees for keeping the games flowing and creating a positive environment on the pitch, and, of course, to all the parents for their fantastic support and encouragement throughout the day.

Zug U8 showed great commitment from the first whistle to the last, with some particularly strong defense and a real determination to work for one another as a team. It was especially rewarding to see so much of what the team has been working on in training coming to life on the pitch.

Our young Zug players supported each other, worked together, maintained their structure and showed great team spirit, even when under pressure. Seeing our Zug U8 put into practice what they have been learning was definitely one of the highlights of the day.

And the results reflected their effort: Zug U8 finished the tournament unbeaten, with 3 wins and 2 draws, securing 2nd place behind Basel-Bern. A big shout-out to our squad: Ian, Matthew, Idris, Levin, Adrian, Oliver, Mariona, Leon and Rafe, with Rafe celebrating the special milestone of playing in his very first tournament!

Unbeaten, strong defence, great teamwork and plenty of smiles. A Halloween tournament to remember!
