In a stunning alpine setting, friends, players and supporters of Zug Rugby Club teed off on June 5th at the prestigious Andermatt Golf Club for a day of sport, generosity and community spirit. The Fundraising Golf Day, hosted by Toni Enderli, Realtor of Excellence (ROE) Swiss Family Office, brought together a fully booked field in support of the club and proved a resounding success on every measure.

A day designed for connection and a cause
Players arrived at 8:30 to a warm welcome of coffee and croissants, before a 10:00 shotgun start in changing weather conditions on Switzerland's iconic 18-hole, par-72 championship course. Played as a Four-Ball, the tournament was social, competitive and inclusive of all handicaps throughout the day.

A Halfway House lunch kept energy levels high mid-round, before players returned to the clubhouse for an apéro and prize-giving.

The evening closed with a delicious dinner at the Swiss House and a live charity auction run by the highly talented auctioneer Peter Fuller-Gee who unlocked a tremendous amount of energy, humor and generosity amongst all guests.

Auction highlights included framed rugby shirt, signed by South African rugby legend Rassie Erasmus, 5-Star Skis, 6l bottles of award-winning Swiss wines, helicopter rides, 6 nations rugby tickets and much more. We thank all sponsors for their generosity that helped raise an impressive amount for the club.

Why it matters
The impressive proceeds from the auction will go directly to supporting Zug Rugby Club's mission - developing community and performance sport for the youth and the next generation of talented rugby players. The funds raised will help the club continue investing in coaching, equipment, youth pathways and the everyday running of a club that has become a home for rugby in central Switzerland.
