Zug Rugby Club hosted its Open Day on 30th August in Baar Sennweid, attracting over 400 players, families, and rugby enthusiasts throughout the day. The event aimed to introduce newcomers to the sport, as well as kick off the 2025/26 season.

Attendees enjoyed a friendly atmosphere, training sessions for all age groups, a competitive match for the men's team, as well as gourmet burgers and drinks. Toni Enderli, Realtor Of Excellence - Swiss Family Office generously sponsored the burgers and kept everyone powered throughout the day.

The club took the opportunity to highlight its aspirations to build a clubhouse and develop a strong rugby community and spirit in the area. The continued support from our sponsors helps fund equipment for the teams, development and training for the coaches, refreshments for the players, and logistics for the club.

During the event the club recognized the 14 players that have represented Switzerland over the previous season.
