Normally it is our players that are in the lime light, but this time we need to mention our coaches.
From the 9th-11th of May five of our coaches started their process in becoming J&S recognised coaches. They will participate in another 3 day in August to become fully qualified, which then means that they have thier J&S qualification as well as the World Rugby Level 2 qualification. More of our coaches will complete a transition course from World Rugby Level 2 to J&S during the next few months.
This is important for the club as it further shows our commitment to be fully integrated in Switzerland and follow the guidelines of the Jugend and Sport programm.
During the last weekend our coaches had to learn a different way to think about coaching plans and the importance the role of a coach brings.
There were many lessons as well as planing a sessions and carying them out using other participants and a voluntary group of U14 players.
We got to play a lot of Rugby and despite the course being intensity level 0, we went away with a few bumps and bruises, but hey we can not help getting into it a little when we love the sport so much.
It was eye opening and added a lot more tools to our coaching toolbox. With this in mind we hope we can get even more out of our players not only making them better players but hopefully helping them to become even better versions of themselves.
Considering that all of our coaches do this voluntary next to their jobs, it is an increadible effort from all of them and hopefully shows you all their committment to not only the club but also all of the children.
Until next time and HOPP ZUG!!!
