We had healthy 28 players available, allowing us to field two teams against Zurich Rugby Academy and Eastern Force. Supporters were treated to exciting youth rugby, closely contested matches, tasty BBQ, sweet cakes and cold refreshments.

Most importantly, the players, referees, coaches and parents celebrated the spirit of rugby and created some great new memories together.

We are proud of how the Zug U14 squad is growing in confidence and developing as a team. What stood out most was their energy and collective commitment in defence—the courage to stop the advancing ball carrier, also known as the TACKLE.

They faced two very tough and respected NSRV teams, featuring strong ball carriers and skilful outside backs. However, they never backed down. Zug U14 kept working hard in both defence and attack and, by the end of the day, finished top of the table.

We are very proud of this squad.
