2 Zug U8 Teams dominate Tägerwilen

Despite the lack of oppositions in our recent tournaments our U8's continue to improve and make the best out of our trips.

In our last tournament we showed up with two teams and played each other as well as a strong Tägerwilen side which were stronger build in statue as well as older 7 year olds.

When playing each other our kids had a minimum 1 pass rule before scoring a try and they really showed progression in passing and protecting the ball carrier as well as finding the open space.
This then showed in the games against Tägerwilen where were we could see some nice phases building and some strong tackles being thrown in defense. Both of our teams came away with two victories each over Tägerwilen.

We can see that the kids are starting to make their own game plans, talk to each other, and figure out how to fight and play against bigger kids and how to use speed and skills to their advantage.

As ever we are so proud watching them from the sidelines and seeing how they progress and put in place what we teach them. We can see a group of players form and becoming a team and not individuals, respecting themselves and the opposition. That is what Rugby is about and when we can then also take the wins home with us, its just a bonus.

Only a few weeks left now before the X-mas break, during which we will miss our training sessions, but we can not wait to see what we can achieve in the second half of the season.

Go Zug!!!
